... from the late 1800s to the 1920s, Merida was the richest city in the World? It was the leading producer of henequen, a plant that is used to make ropes. Those attending the 75th RILEM Annual Week in person this year will have the opportunity to visit this wonderful city in Mexico!

The report of the workshop “Global Partnership for Sustainable Construction and Resource Efficiency” that took place in July this year, is now available here. 18 panellists (speakers and chairpersons) and 236 attendees from 42 countries registered to the workshop. Kenya was the most represented country, due to the interest for the opportunities provided by the mobility programme. You can also watch some recordings of the event here.
