Self-healing of asphalt binders
 
Asphalt materials can restore stiffness or strength lost when allowed to rest for a given time interval in the absence of external actions; this ability is commonly referred to as self-healing. In this OPEN ACCESS paper, members of RILEM TC 278-CHA, present their exploration and evaluation into the experimental methods and criteria for the assessment of self-healing of asphalt binders.

 
 

CRC 2025 Proceedings
 
The 2nd International RILEM Conference on Early-Age and Long-Term Cracking in RC Structures (CRC 2025) took place in Katowice, Poland, last week, on 11-12 September 2025. The proceedings have been published by Springer in the RILEM Bookseries. RILEM members can access the digital version of these proceedings for free through their RILEM website account.
