NEW TC MEMBERSHIP RULES
At its last meeting in Guimaraes, Portugal, in March 2020, TAC discussed new TC membership rules and agreed on the following statement: TC Chairs should not refuse RILEM members to become members of their TC, not even when the TC has been running for a few years or if the proposed member has no background on the topic. All RILEM members should be allowed to learn about a new topic by joining a TC.
With this statement, RILEM would like to encourage its young members, affiliates and PhD students, to consider to join one of the active TCs.
