Abstract: This paper describes a numerical simulation method to predict the degradation of cement-based materials due to calcium leaching. The model was constructed by the chemical equilibrium of calcium, the movement analysis of diffusion-advection of driving force and the change in mechanical properties. From the comparison of results of numerical simulation and the results of investigation for the one-hundred-year and the thirty-year old real structures or the specimens of acceleration test, it was concluded that the developed model could satisfactorily express the fundamental degradation mechanism.
