Abstract: A prediction model for life-cycle performance of urban tunnel structures, based on the application of the structural reliability theory and 10-year experience in diagnostics, maintenance and repair of urban tunnel structures, is presented. The model works in the time range, which spans from operation start to the design service life. The model takes into account the influence of environmental factors, waterproofing failure, changes of propetfies of reinforced concrete, load-bearing capacity changes in time up to collapse. The analysis of the prediction modeling application made it possible to perform the durability design along with the ordinary mechanical design of tunnels.
