Abstract: Subsequently installed reinforcement bar connections with injection adhesive have at all times been applied, although design rules and installation have not been clearly regulated in any way until recently.
This status basically changed through the issue of the first general construction supervisory authority approval No. Z-21.8-1648 on 7th February 2000, for subsequently installed reinforcement bar connections with an injection adhesive [1].
This paper describes the regulations of the first approval by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik, Berlin, for the subsequently installed reinforcement bar connections with injection adhesive and demonstrates the requirements of the planning civil engineer, the jobsite personnel and the companies in theory and practice.
