Abstract: A probability method based on logarithmic normal distribution was established to predict the frost-resistant properties of high performance concrete under external load. In this method, the accelerating effect of external load on the freeze-thaw failure of HPC was considered so that the number of freeze-thaw cycles under different load ratios could be evaluated. The freeze-thaw tests under external loads were carried out to validate the method. Good correlation was observed between the analytical results based on the proposed method and the experimental data in this study and from the literature. The applicability and reliability of the proposed method was also verified preliminarily.
