Abstract: A study concerning the application of different repair techniques on damaged historic masonry buildings is pre sented.
In particular,three techniques are considered: injections,jacketing,and repointing of bed joints reinforced by stainless steel wires.
The results of an experimental research carried out in the last years on some study cases are shown.
Laboratory and in situ tests are included and the interpretation of the mechanisms of failure by mechanical and numerical models is also given.
