Abstract: The international conference on performance of construction materials in the new millennium (ICPCM) was held in Cairo, Egypt from February 18 to February 20, 2003.
The conference was co-organized between Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt and The University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada.
Information about the conference and registration were managed through its website (www.
ucalgary.
ca/~icpcm).
The conference was sponsored by the Housing and Building Research Centre (HBRC) and The Egyptian Society of Engineers (ESE) from Egypt.
The conference also has been internationally sponsored by The American Concrete Institute (ACI) and The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE), RILEM (in alphabetic order) and by 17 other companies worldwide.
