Abstract: The behaviour of beams and slabs made of steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC) subjected to bending stresses was one of the main aspects of a recently finished Brite EuRam project [1]. It was one of the main goals of this project to establish an experimental basis in order to assess more information on so-called size-effects under bending conditions. This paper comprises the main test results and recommendations found within the mentioned project and of further research work based on these results.
