Abstract:
Concrete is the most widely used aging material for constructions. Since, the properties of concrete changes, however with age and the estimation of material properties is a difficult problem especially at its early age, which have to be defined in order to decide the removal time of formwork, to analysis of mass concrete structure, and etc. In this paper, experimental results and prediction models of material properties at early age which are basic creep, autogenous shrinkage, compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, and elastic modulus are presented. And applicability of a new device predicting stress by hydration heat is also presented.
