Abstract:
In order to prevent from the leakage induced by cracking in subway station, we analyzed the effect of temperature stress and shrinkage stress on mass concrete structure, and got formula to calculate temperature stress, shrinkage stress, and the space and width of crack for subway station structure. To solve cracking problem for mass concrete, we proposed some effective measures whose feasibility was verified with a case study on Shanghai metro station. At the end of this paper, the leakage prevention and waterproof programs of Metro No.1 and Metro No.2 in Shanghai were contrasted, we got some useful conclusions, which can be a good reference to deal with the leakage in underground concrete structure.
