Abstract: 
In this paper, 2 types of recycled aggregates acquired by different crushing process were used and their qualities were examined. The absorption and adhered mortar of recycled aggregate were a little different value according to crushing process. The compressive strength, absorption and resistance to freezing and thawing of recycled aggregate concrete were investigated in comparison with control concrete and metakaolin was used for improving the qualities of recycled aggregate concrete. The compressive strength of recycled aggregate concrete without metakaolin was a similar to or low that of control concrete. On the other hand, when metakaolin was used, the properties of recycled aggregate concrete, compressive strength, absorption and resistance to freezing and thawing, were represented to remarkably enhanced due to the contribution of metakaolin.
