Abstract: 
High performance concrete is a new kind of high technology concrete. It is made by modern concrete techniques with its properties improved greatly. In this paper, functions of water- reducing and restraint of alkali-aggregate reacting of mineral powder in PHC is discussed in detail. Meanwhile, because of adding mineral powder, the ratio of gluey material in concrete is risen up. Therefore, the early shrinkage and fragile of concrete are increased. The early crack and fragile problems and how to treat them are also analyzed and discussed.
