Abstract:
A steel fiber reinforced high-strength concrete thin-walled box girder model with reinforcement in a scale of one to five according to actual engineering is tested under axial force and moment. In the middle of span of box girder section, the deformation and strain distribution on top plate, soleplate and along the height are tested. Based on experimental study and theoretical analysis, some conclusions are achieved, including Planar Hypothesis and the phenomena of positive and negative shear lag. Difference coefficients of shear lag have been suggested for the design of this member.
