Abstract: 
Based on Pseudo-dynamic experiment of 1/7 scale model of R.C. structures with three bay, three span in the thermal power plants, this paper studies the mechanism of the structures under horizontal earthquake, including the characteristics of seismic force and deformation, the location of the weak stories, the bearing capacity of the structure, the distribution with frame and bent under the horizontal earthquake loading in the frame-bent structures during the different experimental stages. The result can be applied to the practical design to improve the structure seismic behavior.
