In this paper, aiming at the developing condition of the urban track traffic (UTT) in the world and the practical need of integrated ballast track in China, from aspects of the cost, vibration and noise, city's sight and etc., a new structure of concrete " green" integrated ballast used on soil roadbed, looked like "ladder", is put forward. In combination with the design request of Dalian modern rail tramcar, from the point of view of practical engineering need and theoretical analyses, the structure type and the handling technique of foundation for building concrete integrated ballast on the soil roadbed are researched. By using the theory of beams on continuous elastic foundation and the design method of concrete sleeper, the internal forces are calculated. And the arranging reinforcements are designed according to the allowable stress method. As a result, some reasonable suggestions about this kind of concrete structure are given. Study shows that this kind of new structure of "ladder" concrete integrated ballast is of theoretical and practical significance to develop the UTT for China.
