Abstract: 
A colliery plans to mine the coal under it's appropriative railroad bridge, which may cause serious influences to the railroad's bridge.On the basis of making accurate prediction to the surface deformation caused by mining, rational numerical calculation models are established; the subsidiary stress and additional deformation laws of the railroad bridge and the foundation affected by the mining-caused surface deformation are studied; the reliability of the bridge's structure and the foundation with the effect of mined-movement is analyzed; valid reinforcement methods are put forward to ensure the safety and reliability of the structure during the surface's uneven wide-range settlement caused by mining.
