Abstract:
This paper reports the test results of the interface slip distribution laws of six two-span steel-concrete composite continuous beams (SCCCB) under two points symmetry concentrated loads. By means of elastic interlayer supposition, the relative differential equations of the axial forces and slip of composite beams are obtained. The computational interface slip distribution along two SCCCB using the formulas under different concentration loads is shown, which are compared with its corresponding test results. The formulas of interface slips will benefit engineering designers and provide the theory for the Finite Element analysis of ultimate load bearing capacity of SCCCB.
