Abstract: One of the Workpackages of SCC-Testing project is dedicated to examining test methods for documenting the filling ability of Self Compacting Concrete by documenting the accuracy, scatter, repeatability, applicability etc. Laboratory tests are performed for different concrete mixes comparisons are also made with rheological test methods such as viscosimeter tested for the same mix.
The outcome of this first part of the laboratory test series involves standard test results but also evaluations of the possible scatter between testing occasions, agreement between the workability methods and rheological methods as well as agreement with expected values for the mixes. Some examples of results achieved so far are given in the paper.
