Abstract: Creep and shrinkage of concrete are important properties for both structure design and construction. Its values can either be obtained experimentally or by analytical models. This paper is a contribution to on going research of deformability properties of hardened Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC). Comparative creep and shrinkage measurements were performed on SCC and on normal concrete. Both concretes are of the same strength class - C30/37. Testing was performed on prismatic specimens with and without protection. The protected specimens allowed the study of concrete deformability without air-drying.
