Abstract: Tests have been carried out on several types of concrete ranging from normal strength to ultra-high strength concrete and self compacting concrete establishing permeability and diffusivity of concrete as a function of temperature between 20 and 80°C. The results show a considerable increase of these properties with temperature. The prediction on the basis of thermodynamics show reasonable to good agreement between theory and experiment.
