Abstract: Considering the large amount of waste generated by companies benefiting from rocks and the need to use them, this work had as main objective the analysis of the behavior of fluid cementations matrix with the addition of the waste processing of marble and granite (RBMG) and inclusion of fibers. The RBMG used comes from settling tanks of one of the industries of processing of marble and granite of the State of Alagoas. The waste applied was previously used. It were used two types of fiber: steel and polypropylene, mixed in two volumes fractions (1 and 2%), and in two lengths, short and long. When the mixture was ready, it was tested in fresh and hardened state to evaluate the properties of the composite. The results of the tests on fresh and hardened state show technical feasibility of the waste for use as mortar in thin fluid with addition of fibers. Thus, the use of RBMG emerges as alternative to minimize environmental degradation, thus contributing to sustainable development in construction.
