Abstract:
The variation and correlation of chloride diffusion coefficient of different types of concrete were studied under natural conditions of exposure and indoor standard immersion test. The result shows that chloride diffusion coefficient of concrete decreased with time in line with exponential, and the attenuation coefficient related to the types of mineral admixture. Using exposure test data, the quantitative relationship between chloride diffusion coefficients measured by exposure test and immersion test could be established which related to the type and content of admixture. The relationship can provide the basis for durability design of marine concrete structure by using indoor standard immersion test results.
