Abstract:
To study the behavior of ternary blended steel fibre reinforced concrete when subjected to 800 Deg.C and 1000 Deg.C for 3 hours. It has been found that the ternary blended steel fibre reinforced concrete containing (FA+GGBFS) and (FA+MK) offer higher resistance to sustained elevated temperatures upto 800 Deg.C, where as the blend containing (FA+SF) does not offer any resistance at this temperature. The study reveals that the blend containing (FA+GGBFS) and (FA+MK) gives highest resistance at replacement levels of (10+20) and (15+15) respectively at sustained exposure to 800 Deg.C.
