Abstract: 
By the addition of titanium dioxide (TiO₂), new fields of application of textile reinforced concrete can be opened up. As a consequence, textile reinforced concrete shall feature pollutant decomposing and self-cleaning properties. In this paper, the effects of the change of different parameters on the pollutant decomposing properties are presented and the use of rhodamine B to assess the self-cleaning properties of fine grained concretes is classified.
