Abstract: The rheological parameters of polypropylene fibre reinforced fresh mortar (PFRFM) and polypropylene fibre reinforced fresh concrete (PFRFC) - yield value g and plastic viscosity h were determined. PFRFM and PFRFC behaves as a Bingham or nonlinear Hershell-Bulkey model. The rheological parameters were determined using two rheometers: one for mortars and the other for concrete mix. In the research, the experimental verification of the influence of: W/C ratio, dosage of superplasticizer (SP), volume fraction of fibres and lengths fibres on the rheological properties of PFRFM and PFRFC were investigated.
The first step in the procedure was a rheological identification of PFRFM and PFRFC, which was completed based on experimental flow curves and acceptance an adequate model and rheological equation. Based on this experimental analysis of composition factors influence on fresh mortar and concrete rheological behaviour was investigated.
