Abstract: Nowadays, the workability, the strength and the toughness are significant factors for Self - Compacting - High Performance Concrete (SCHPC). This paper presents research results on the workability, on the compressive strength and on the flexural toughness of Fibre Cocktail (hybrid steel-polypropylene fibre) Reinforced SCHPC (FRSCHPC). Forty mixtures made with steel fibres, PP-fibres and hybrid steel-PP fibres of various dosages have been investigated. The mixtures were tested using rheometer, slump flow panel, J-Ring and L-Box tests for evaluating the flowability and segregation risk of the fresh mortar/ concrete. In order to assess the influences of different fibres (steel fibre, PP-fibre and the fibre cocktail) on the compression, flexural toughness (for beams and slabs), lots of experiments have been carried out based on the results of the workability tests.
