Abstract: The following document describes the construction of a thin shell structure using steel fiber reinforced concrete. The roof called JChypar is a groined vault composed of four hyperbolic paraboloids. Shell thickness equals 6 cm and distance between opposite supports is 35,50 m. This paper describes the whole construction process of the aforementioned structure. Previous characterization tests, materials selection, structural design, shoring process, rebar placement, shotcreting process, curing process and striking, are analyzed.
