Abstract: In the products to cement base reinforced with vegetable fiber are produced interactions of
chemical type that prejudice the behavior bonding of the two materials. With respect to the
cement matrix, the dissolution of glucose contents in the fibers, included the hemicelluloses
demoted by the alkalinity of the cement, provokes arrears in the hydration of the cement that
are translated in reductions of the final resistance of the product.
The objective of this study has been determined that low-cost previous treatments
minimize this process and generate better resistant results.
