Abstract: In order to use large quantities of wood wastes, the application of these wastes as binder and aggregate of porous concrete was investigated. Polyurethane resin was extracted from these wastes. Wood aggregates were chopped from the wastes and the physical properties of these aggregates were examined. Furthermore, porous polymer concretes using the above polyurethane as binder and the chipped wood aggregates were manufactured, and physical and mechanical properties of these concretes were tested.
