Abstract: In the paper, taking water binder ratio, pre-wetting time, cement content, 24h water absorption and cylinder compressive strength of ceramisite as the main factors, the influence of lightweight aggregates on self-compacting lightweight concrete properties was investigated. The results show that, as to prepare self-compacting lightweight aggregate concrete, it is better to choose lightweight aggregates with 24h water absorption of less than 10%, and pre-wetting time of less than 1h. When designing the mechanical properties of concrete, the cylinder compressive strength of ceramisite should be firstly considered.
