Abstract: The influence of mineral admixture on the drying shrinkage of high performance concrete (denoted as HPC) was studied. The results are as fellows. When the content of fly ash lower than 20% of binder, the drying shrinkage of HPC decreases with the increasing of fly ash content. The drying shrinkage of HPC with metakaoli and fly ash is higher than that only with fly ash. And the combination of fly ash and slag may decrease the drying shrinkage of HPC, and the drying shrinkage of concrete with 1:1 of the proportions of slag-fly ash is the lowest. Compare the existing calculation model of drying shrinkage of concrete with the test data, the calculation model of drying shrinkage of HPC was put forward. In contrast with the test results, the calculation model fitted the data well.
