Abstract: This paper aims to evaluate prediction of the main structural properties (crack and ultimate loads, crack width, and deflection) of 28 beams measuring 250×400×3200 mm (width×height×length) and tested in four-point flexure. Thirteen beams were cast monolithically with conventional vibrated concrete (CVC) with/without fibers, fiber-reinforced superworkable concrete (FR-SWC), and self-consolidating concrete with/without fibers. Fifteen beams were cast in two layers: the first layer with CVC as substrate and the second layer of 125 mm representing the repair section in tension zone of beams. This second layer was made with the same self-consolidating concretes with/without fibers used to make the monolithic beams and with one fiber-reinforced self-consolidating mortar (FR-SCM). Four fiber types (synthetic, steel, and hybrid) were used at volumes of 0.3% and 0.5% in concrete and at 1.4% for mortar. For prediction, AASHTO LFRD, ACI 318, ACI 363, ACI 544, and CSA A23.3 code models were used. The best prediction model for crack load was ACI 318 for all investigated beams with a mean experimental-to-theoretical ratio (exp/theo) of 1.05. For the repaired beams, this ratio was 0.99. The ultimate load was underestimated with a mean exp/theo of 1.52 for the whole beams and 1.46 for the repaired beams. The best prediction of crack width was obtained with ACI 318 code with a mean exp/theo of 0.77 for all beams and 0.72 for repaired beams. The best correlation of deflection prediction of all beams and repaired beams was obtained with SCA A23.3 and AASHTO LRFD codes, respectively, with a mean exp/theo of 1.34 and 1.46, respectively.
