Abstract: In this paper, the requirements of raw materials, production procedures and application for C60 self-compacting Concrete (SCC) filled in Steel Tube were investigated. Results indicate that the preparation phase is crucial for the performance of SCC, meaning that high quality of raw materials including cement, sand, and water reducer should be selected with care. At the same time, the use of fly ash, slag and mineral admixture is helpful to reduce hydration heated to lower shrinkage possibilities. The designed SCC had good workability and excellent mechanical characteristics without difficulty in filling steel tubes. During phases of production and construction, measurements were adopted to reduce hydration heated strict controls were adopted to ensure the effectiveness of connection between SCC and steel tubes.
