Abstract: In this paper, an improved dispersing methodology is used for dispersing ultra-fine stainless steel fibers into cement paste in order to prepare cementitious composites. Flow properties and mechanical behaviors of the composites under various fiber contents are systematically studied. Test results substantiate the methodology’s effectiveness which tends to rise significantly with the increase of fiber content. It is also found that with the increase of fiber content the fluidity
of paste gets reduced, while flexural strength, initial cracking load and flexural toughness of composites get enhanced.
