Abstract: The effects of types, proportion of mineral admixtures and expansion agent on the performance of shrinkage-compensating concrete were systematically studied in this work. It was found that introduction of mineral admixtures could reduce the adiabatic temperature rise and modify the pore structure, which is benefit to the impermeability of the concrete. And moderate amounts of concrete expansion admixture can compensate the temperature and dry shrinkage of the concrete. The shrinkage-compensating concrete has excellent work and mechanical
performance, low adiabatic temperature rise, and excellent impermeability.
