Abstract: By studying on the morphology, corrosion products, carbonation depths, chlorine ion and sulfate ion contents and so on, the corrosion characteristics of the reinforced concrete piles are analyzed exposed naturally in coastal saline soil environment for 17 years. The deterioration and corrosion mechanism of reinforced concrete are discussed. It provides reference for the durability design and anti-corrosion maintenance of reinforced concrete in coastal saline soil environment.
