Abstract: This paper selects the sample masonry brick to do the anti-freeze-thaw cycles and strength test, to do the wind load accelerating weathering test by using wind tunnels, in order to explore the durability and estimate remaining durable years of masonry brick of buildings. The test result shows, the remaining durable years of the masonry brick can be estimated by freeze-thaw method. Freeze-thaw cycle test can reflect the anti-weathering performance. The wind load can accelerate weathering level of brick. The corroding of moist chloride ion is the inner reason for brick chemical weathering. The wind load is the outer condition for brick physical weathering.
