Abstract: One of the latest advances in concrete technology is Ultra High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC). It is a fiber-reinforced, densely-packed concrete material that exhibits increased mechanical performance and superior durability to normal and high strength concretes. Nano SiO2 can also accelerate cement hydration through a nucleation and growth mechanism, stimulate the formation of additional calcium silicate hydrates (C-S-H) through possible pozzolanic reactions, and reduce calcium leaching and weak zones of calcium hydroxide. Furthermore, curing on high temperature has a positive effect on the pozzolanic reactions between CH from the hydration of cement and Nano silica. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of curing regimes on the mechanical properties of UHPFRC with
different content of nano silica (1 and 2%). Standard curing regime in water, steam curing and autoclaving were applied. Comparative test results of concrete in fresh and hardened state are shown.
