Abstract: The influence of crystalline admixtures on the durability of concretes was the objective of the present study. We produced four concrete mixtures – two reference concretes and two alternative mixtures- The properties measured were the compressive strength and different durability indicators. The results revealed that crystalline admixtures enhanced the strength and the durability of alternative mixtures.
