Abstract: In this work, the bond behaviors of two different steel fiber in Ultra-High-Performance
Concrete (UHPC) by numerical simulation with Finite Element Method (FEM) are
investigated. Different silica fume content and different curing time of UHPC are considered.
In addition, a revised bilinear-separation constitutive relationship was proposed to analyze the
bonding behavior between fiber and matrix. According to the results of the experiment and
numerical simulation, the pullout load of the straight fiber continues to decrease after reaching
the peak value, different from that, the pullout load of the hooked fiber presents a stable
platform stage with the displacement increases. The results of numerical simulation suggested
that hooked fiber needs more bond energy to be pullout than straight fiber. In addition,
hooked fiber will be straightened after being pulled out completely. The peak-load of
debonding of different fiber had been deeply affected by the content of silica fume at different
curing time.
