Abstract: The stress-strain relationship of concrete is not only the comprehensive macroscopic
response of mechanical properties, but also the foundation of multi-axial constitutive model.
It is also the indispensable foundation of material constitutive model for ultimate bearing
capacity and nonlinear whole process analysis of components. Whether the UHPC with
excellent performance can be reliably applied in practical engineering depends on the design
theory of the corresponding component design, and the precondition is to establish a
reasonable and accurate constitutive relationship. This paper reviews the tensile stress-strain
and axial compressive stress-strain behavior of UHPC and the relationship between elastic
modulus and strength. Finally, the suggestion that the mechanical properties of UHPC needs
to be further strengthened is proposed, which is hoped to promote the application of UHPC in
practical engineering.
