Abstract: In order to study the influence mechanism of shear span ratio on simply supported
prestressed ultra-high performance concrete beams without web reinforcement, four
unbonded post-tensioned UHPC prestressed tested beams with different shear span ratios
were studied. The relationships between shear span ratio and bearing capacity, inclined angle
of oblique crack, crack width, stress increment of prestressed tendons, strain of non-
prestressed longitudinal tendons, deflection of loading points are analyzed. The results show
that the bearing capacity and oblique crack inclination decrease with the increased of shear
span ratio. The ductility, crack width, stress increment of prestressed tendons, strain and
deflection of non-prestressed longitudinal tendons increase with the increased of shear span
ratio.
