Abstract: The electrical parameters of self-compacting concrete were tested by cyclic voltammetry and AC impedance spectroscopy. The impermeability of different self-compacting concrete was studied. The correlation between electrical parameters and impermeability was analyzed. The results showed that the volume resistivity of concrete obtained by cyclic voltammetry had a good correlation with the electric flux and chloride diffusion coefficient, while the correlation among the resistance of pore solution and resistance of C-S-H obtained by AC impedance spectroscopy and electric flux or chloride diffusion coefficient is slightly worse. Impermeability of concrete can be characterised by volume resistivity.
