Abstract: In order to study and predict the flow performance of the self-compacting concrete in the formwork, a simulation method of the moving particle semi-implicit method (MPS) based onthe Bingham rheological model was used to simulate the pouring process of the self-compacting concrete (SCC) under the self-gravity action. By comparing the flow time and flow pattern of the L-box in the laboratory to a specific location, it is proved that the MPS
method based on the Bingham rheological model is feasible for the flow simulation of self-compacting concrete.
