Abstract: The electrical characteristic parameters of fresh concrete during plastic stage were tested respectively by the methods of Cyclic Voltammetry and AC Impedance Spectroscopy, and the influence of mineral admixture on the electrical characteristic parameters of concrete such as the volume resistivity and resistance of pore solutionwerecomparatively analyzed. The results show that the electrical characteristic parameters of fresh self-compacting concrete can accurately reflect the difference of cementitious material composition, whichwas consistent with the theoretical results. The volume resistivity andtheresistance of pore solutionwere in a positive linear correlation, which both were measured at 12h since the concrete mixing. There were good correlation between the 56d electric flux andthe Chloride diffusion coefficient, sowerethe volume resistivity and theresistance of pore solution. Both of the volume resistivity andtheresistance of pore solution can be used as the evaluation index to characterize the impermeability of hardened concrete.
