Abstract: The effects of limestone powder (LP) on the hydration, microstructure and mechanical properties (compressive and tensile properties) of ultra-high performance engineered cementitious composites (UHP-ECC) with different levels of replacement (12.5%, 25% and 50% by volume) were investigated. The kinetics of hydration was compared for different
replacement levels using isothermal calorimetry. The tensile properties including the tensile strength, tensile strain capacity and strain energy, attained the highest values at replacement ratio of 12.5% and then decreased with the increasing replacement ratios. The morphology of
PE fiber was investigated by scanned electron microscope (SEM) analysis.
