Abstract: Almost two years has been passed after Japan faced the various critical situations due to the Great East Japan Earthquake, occurred on 11, March, 2011. During this time, a lot of discussions according to the restoration, the reconstruction of this disaster, and so on were accomplished. However, as for those discussions, there are many supposed parts not to yet converge.
Japanese media appoints the late situation of the disposal of debris due to the earthquake and Tsunami, with the comparison of the Japanese former situation of the Great Kanto Earthquake at 1923, and the Great Hanshin Earthquake at 1995. On the other hand, there also exists the extremely severe situation that the processing of the debris must be completed by March, 2015.
From these viewpoints, this paper scopes about the present conditions and the problem of the technique about disposal of earthquake disaster waste and the effective
utilization (recycling).
