Abstract: Diffusion coefficient of chloride ions in concrete is one of the major factors which determine the service life of reinforced concrete structures. It has been reported that chloride diffusion coefficient is time-dependent. In this investigation, electrical resistivity measurement was employed as a technique to study the evolution of chloride diffusion coefficients on concrete cured under different temperatures. Concrete cylinders with high volumes of Class F fly ash or/and Ground-granulated blast-furnace slag with cement replacement ratio by mass up to 70% were tested. The specimens were exposed to room temperature and 35°C lime water bath curing. It was found that the aging factor for diffusion coefficient obtained from resistivity measurements is affected by both curing regime and the amount/type of pozzolanic admixtures.
